Tom brings a wealth of political experience and an extensive national network to our clients at PremierNational.

As a Government Relations Specialist with over a decade in the field, Tom has been trusted with maintaining and developing key internal relationships for the current Prime Minister of Australia and Premier of Queensland. Tom has extensive experience working for Senior Ministers and Labor Leaders, managing high-profile complex issues in a fast-paced environment.  

Tom worked on several successful Labor wins across the country. As a party official, Tom worked with Labor in the successful 2015 Queensland State Election. While working with Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk, Tom played a critical role in Labor’s re-election campaign in 2017.  

From 2019 to 2022, Tom worked closely with Anthony Albanese while he was Leader of the Australian Labor Party, During the 2022 election campaign, Tom formed part of Albanese’s core travelling party team, where Labor was successful in securing majority government, after nine years in opposition.

He was admitted to practice as a solicitor in 2015, while working for the trade union movement in Queensland.
