Mark has recently joined the PremierNational team after several years working for the NSW Government, including most recently, as the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Leader of the Government in the Upper House, Minister for Resources, Minister for Energy & Utilities and Minister for the Arts.
In that role, Mark was responsible for managing Government Business in the Upper House, liaising with members of the opposition and cross bench to secure passage of the Government’s legislative agenda. This demonstrated his ability to form strong relationships, negotiate with a broad range of stakeholders and develop a deep understanding of issues affecting every area of Government. As Deputy Chief of Staff, Mark was also responsible for addressing policy issues within the resources and energy sectors, including the development the NSW Government’s 2019 Mineral’s Strategy.
Mark specialises in NSW Government engagement, bringing his strong experience with stakeholder engagement and strategy to the PremierNational team. Prior to his time in the NSW Parliament, Mark worked in the accounting and finance sector, working in the insurance industry and providing taxation and business advisory services to SME’s.
Mark has a Bachelor of Commerce, Accountancy and Business Law from the University of Wollongong.
